Sol,

<So, I'm getting to learn to heal my liver more gradually and with smaller

doses.>

After I sent off my earlier respone, I thought I should have mentioned one

other thing. If you're not already eating liver -- from a good source --

that might be your best and safest approach to healing your own liver. I

haven't seen anyone else on this list, in the time I've been on it, mention

the " like heals like " idea, but that is something I very much believe in. I

remember reading once about experiments done to trace extracts of animal

liver and other organs as they moved through the human body, and there was

always a targeting of the same organ. The tests may have been unreliable,

funded as they were by the companies selling extracts, and they certainly

didn't demonstrate healing activity. However, I've been eating heart on a

daily basis for about nine months now and when I recently visited the

doctor, he listened to my heart and then look up with a surprised and

impressed sounding " Very good! " <g>

,

Interesting. I've had the same thought. What I do know about liver is

that the source needs to be really clean since the liver is a very

powerful filter. When I'm ready to order again from Slankers

(grass-fed meet) I'll add some liver to my order.

Thanks.
