I have found that I've gotten burned out on just about _every_ study out there as my experience has grown over the past three years. The muscle mags were just the worst of it. Back in my Zone days I completely bought into that philosophy and avidly looked at study data trying to support my experiences and beliefs. In fact, it was Sears' comprehensive use of the existing data that convinced my wife and me to enter the Zone. LOL. As my interests shifted towards building muscle mass I read the magazines and absorbed the info until I started to realize that most of the study data I was getting was skewed or incorrect and that I was being manipulated. As I came to see the light on other nutritional issues I found that my interest in study data was waning. Too many studies proving things that seem to be incorrect. For every study there is an equal and opposite study. I've flipped over to the point now where I find my eyes glaze over when someone starts quoting them. I recognize that _that_ is not a particularly useful viewpoint, either, but it's where I'm at at the moment. I'm currently much more interested in hearing what people have actually done/are doing that has worked for them. Individual studies are sometimes useful but by no means do they conclusively bear much resemblance to reality. Ron
