Eads has a GREAT ARTICLE in this month's FPM on Virtual Visits in the Ideal Medical Practice Series:www.aafp.org/fpm/20071000/20virt.htmlPretty much spells out and adds lots more depth to the 'how to do it' conversation ongoing last night. Sweet and succinct. I especially love the question "What are you waiting for?"I am crazy about everything in the article except the picture of the men with the Pinocchio noses. Congratulations! Hi Myria,

I am glad Barb Pinckney did such a good job of portraying the

micropractices in this article! I truly enjoyed the picture--you in

your garage, drawing the layout on the floor of your future office!

When she called me after reading 's article she did not seem too

interested in repeating the story, until I mentioned you were starting

it in your own garage, and she was thrilled she had a real story! So

the purpose of getting the word out was acheived.

She did make 3 errors regarding me, of which the worst was saying that

I was with St. 's and was unhappy with them and left--( I was

never with them and did not want them offended), so she called them and

apologised, and promised corrections. Also I never said other doctors

are worried about opening micropractices--I said most doctors are

scared of the administrative hassles and finances and do not want to

open their own practices, but if they use technology to make it simple,

and go the micropractice style it can be done, and I would be willing

to help others to set it up.

But I am glad that because of you the micropractices were able to get

more attention in our local press :-)))

Promenko's new practice. I'm glad Padma was able to get them to

correct information about how long her practice has been open. My

apologies about inadvertantly "stealing" the lime light.
