Guest guest
, this is funny. For the life of me I could not figure out what you were getting upset about with Deanna's claim to have some knowledge of the system. You've clarified that now and I had to laugh. I really have next to no knowledge of Ayurveda, as you can tell. I've taken a couple of quizzes a few times and was confused by the results. Anyway....as to symptoms, I'm not sure that I have any. I'm trying to lose a small amount of weight which is proving somewhat difficult but I am sure a doctor would say I am not overweight. Maybe my skin's a little dry and my nails are softer than they could be. What else...I don't know..... I've just started taking VCO, kefir a few weeks ago and trying to keep the nasty evil carbs away from my mouth. Haven't got a problem with coffee or alcohol. I've been reading The Diet Cure and Dangerous Grains over the past two days. Tell me what does this sound like....if there is ice cream in the house I must eat it till it's gone. Very hard to resist. I can resist bread but find that if I have one piece then I probably end up having many. Does this sound like an addiction? to either sugar or wheat or just carbs in general? I successfully avoided sugar and grains for three years up until I was several weeks pregnant. Then feeling sick I ate anything and everything to feel better. Sometimes I can't believe I got through more than one Easter without chocolate passing my teeth. >I recommend my friends and clients to take CLO for certain symptoms and that can also get me in trouble with the law--would you take offense to that? How ridiculous is that? I saw on doctor on my television this morning giving advice on how women can avoid heart disease. She said that 30-40% of our diet should come from fats...ok....then said that these should be vegetable oils like corn oil, canola, olive, etc and we should cut down on saturated fats. All I could do was roll my eyes. Liability? Hah! She's only giving advice according to what she knows. WHEN it is proven incorrect (hopefully in her lifetime) what will she say then? Oops? Roll of eyes again. And here I am run out of VCO yesterday. Still a bit hard for me to stick in my mouth. It's the texture more than anything. So sometimes it goes in the coffee. Well little boys are getting sick of me " playing " on the PC. Cheers
