Sorry, Deanna. > b , you have no need to apologize about this. But honestly I do not want any perceived hostilities between us. I apologize if I have been testy. We all have skills and knowledge that can be shared and questioned respectfully (even if heatedly at times). I meant no offense to Ayurveda in general, from what little I know of it, but I did wonder about any research into it, because nutritional advice can be a tricky area unless (in the US) it comes from a dietician or physician. This is probably unfortunate mostly. I did have liability coverage as a yoga instructor, especially since I was an independent contractor. As a personal trainer, I had nationally recognized certifications, worked for a health club, and followed the protocols for training people with various health concerns. I wasn't off the hook for liability to client injury, but was padded a bit, so to speak. I don't know if things have changed in recent years about giving nutritional advice legally speaking, but I think many folks here in our group have a better handle on what constitutes sound nutrition better than many MDs. Also, as far as this group goes, we are just discussing things as interested individuals, so I don't think any liability issues extend to our little forum, unless you are receiving pay for it on the side <g>.
