Okay y'all. I am taking my own advice and rereading the psycho message

from hell. Paste these tid bits together and tell me what ya get. I

have omitted the quotes already addressed, btw.

" Well, not exactly this post, but one of the reactions I got to it,

namely the

one coming from Gene, whom I'll call henceforth Mr. Schwartz, because

I want to keep a certain distance from him and look at him as if he

were a mature person, older than Pan. Gene sounds too intimate,

anyway. " [Gene is diseased, that is the thesis]

....

" Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but now

this must be clearly instilled into Mr. Schwartz: It's very easy to

criticize the Church (any urchin can do that, you know, about how

boring the mass can be) and to accuse the Church of being sexist and

homophobic. " [get it now buddy? When will you fall into line behind JC?]

....

" I'm exposing both of us, not only him. " [Credibility factor that many

dupes fell for without evidence]

....

" Of course he made me hit the ceiling - and if not for the concrete

slab under the roof of this house, I'd have plunged into space. In

other words, I flamed back, but in every way I was much milder than

Mr. Schwartz. My first reaction was to think: " Is this man talking to

himself aloud? " But then I simply suggested he was insane, or if a

more neutral wording had occurred to me, I would have said he had an

emotional disorder, or even that he was a case of sociopathy. " [he made

me shoot my wife, yeah right, tell it to the judge]

....

" ...but he was very vocal about it... " [unless y'all talk on the phone,

" vocal " is meaningless]

....

" Mr. Schwartz

thinks that I've offended him and harassed him. I'm not very sure

that I did so, but he was very vocal about it, so I'm tempted to

believe him. I was even under the impression he would sue me for

sending him a further e-mail. Anyway, isn't my leaving the group the

best toll I can pay him for any personal damage, even if it were only

a by-product of a quixotic fantasy? " [if you post my address on this or

any other list I will call Interpol, get it JC? I was mistaken, but

don't push your luck]

....

" If they were my

primary reasons, it would imply that I was yielding to Mr. Schwartz

too much control over my own life and decision-making and that I had

no doubts about the things he shared with me about myself. And this

rationale couldn't be real, could it? I am not in delirium, you know. "

[No, I don't know]

....

" I don't know if Mr. Schwartz, too, needs psychotherapy. If he has no

cash to pay for a serious treatment, he ought to consider the

therapeutic value of falling in love, going hunting or simply

greeting the trees he passes by. Any of these would make him a more

compassionate man. " [Ad hominem, lala la la laalaa]

....

" Let me cast some pearls before the swine. " [what I see as veiled

antisemitism]

....

" He can be smart, but he generally lacks depth and wisdom. He pretends

to be serious, but is in fact ill-tempered. He lacks humour, but not

irony and sarcasm. He lacks patience, but not tricks to impress

people, maybe to threaten them as well. " [ , I would hope that you

would delete this message or really respond to its hostility, as I can't

continue for now. Maybe a part two is in order]

Oh let it go. You're being as bad as anything now by protracting this

and aggravating the fighting words. I think this subject, at least in

terms of responding to the actual content of his post, should be ended

as inappropriate.

I am being as bad. What does that mean? I am honest. I have dropped

the subject, but I am disappointed. Are you worried your commercial

interests will suffer by this discussion? If y'all want to change the

rules, go ahead. But make them plain as day if ya do, okay? has

their own rules anyhoo.

Squelch the dissenters. I'll leave, no problemo. How funny to have to

be politically correct on a list that bashes political correctness in

the mainstream, as does your website, Masterjohn.

WTF are you talking about? Squelch the dissenters? The dissenters have

enjoyed abundant opportunities to air their views. This is an off-topic

navel-gazing argument that's turning uglier by the minute and does nothing

to advance the mission of native nutrition. And any " dissenters " who feel

" squelched " are welcome to email me offlist.

What on earth are you talking about? What commercial interest do I

have in this list???

I don't know what you're talking about. This thread is quite clearly

personal trash. The list is supposed to be free of personal trash.

All the stuff about Gene in the beginning of this thread was personal

trash.

Dissenters? Wouldn't there have to be an opposing mainstream view in

order to make you a dissenter? Far as I can tell, no one has stuck up

for JC's original post with respect to its remarks about Gene and the

personal exchange. So I don't see how you are " dissenting. "

Either I am very unperceptive, or your interpretation of the phrase

" political correctness " is seriously flawed.

It has been a very stressful week here and nationwide. May we please

chalk it up to that and get on with fall garden discussions and infant

nutrition soon? Okay? I promise to have some good tidbits coming

soon. No offense intended.
