Guest guest
Phil, What is your treatment? > I am having massive herxing from my lyme treatment which is stressing my entire body. I figure the liver is certainly stressed with all the garbage coming out of me so I would like to be sure to eat properly. The " typical " recommendation for " liver " diets is to cut out fat. I tried to find something about this on the WPF website but couldn't. I do conclude though that " healthy " fats as in NT would be beneficial in supporting the liver's detox function. Is my conclusion correct? > Phil > >
Guest guest
I am responding well to 2 antibiotics. I do eat fermented vegetables and take Primal Defense for bacteria. Phil Re: liver healing Phil, What is your treatment?

Is my conclusion correct? Avoiding fat isn't a good idea, though fat digestion does require liver function. There are a few supplements that can help, though. Milk thistle is well-accepted as a liver healer, though it can be tricky to get a quality supplement. Calcium D-Glucarate strongly supports the glucuronidation detox pathway. Choline is very good for the liver. (If you choose to supplement with choline, don't use bitartrate. CDP choline and Alpha-GPC choline are the optimal forms.) Kutkins, a family of compounds that have the same sort of effect as milk thistle but are apparently stronger, can also be useful. I believe there's an ayurvedic tradition of their use, too. More later. Gotta go. -
Guest guest
Thanks I thought yoummight say that. After reading info on the WAPF website and NT I sense that healthy fat has a " protective " quality for the internal organs.
