Guest guest
The best site on all morning sickness is www.helpher.org I have severe morning sickness (hyper-emesis) during all my pregnancies. This site is for the extreme but basically lists every possible...nutritional, pharmaceutical, homeopathic, herbal remedy available. My basic has always been go with your craving but keep your options open. Try to eat the good stuff during your best part of the day. My problem was trying to keep my stomach not full but not empty than you stop the viscous cycle. HTH Blessings, Morning Sickness...Help! I'm 7 weeks pregnant and the morning sickness has just started. For the past 3 days, about the only food that doesn't seem gross has been Bruegger's bagels, but I can't keep eating nothing but white flour. Anything with a strong odor (even though I love spicy food) seems to be out. This morning I even had a hard time finishing my cherries, which are one of my favorite foods. I haven't eaten any meat in several days because it's not very appealing lately. What do I do? Would following WAP more help, even though most foods seem icky now? My stomach can handle the bagels, but my head doesn't like so much white flour.

IMPORTANT ADDRESSES

NATIVE NUTRITION online

SEARCH the entire message archive with Onibasu

LIST OWNER: Idol MODERATORS: Heidi Schuppenhauer Wanita Sears

I had the same problem and scarfed down crackers ... the problem, of course, ended up being the FLOUR ... sometimes you crave what is the problem! Anyway, a few folks have given up grains (esp. wheat/barley/rye: rice is usually ok) and totally LOST the morning sickness. oy if I knew then what I know now! When the digestive process slows (as it does when you are pregnant) a lot of latent problems come out, including MS and IgA food allergies. Eating the allergen does make you feel better, perversely enough. If I had to do it again I'd take digestive enzymes (or kimchi) and eat easily digested foods, and get tested BEFORE I got pregnant.
