Guest guest
Hi , I just read your post, I think it was to Edith. Anyway, that is so funny that you have a Monk Parrot, those are the same as Quakers right, just a different name? We used to have two Quakers, Chic and Cracker. Cracker could talk your head off, but only if you wanted him to be quiet! Those are neat birds, sweet little faces too. Quakers actually live out in the " wild " here in FL where I live. My sister has a huge community of them right across the street from her house. I had a mini dauchsund a long time ago, he was a very good little dog. When I was in high school, my sister and I had a rabbit too. I never knew how huge those things could get! I am glad you have other animals in your family already. They will help a lot. I know that I was very comforted by my sister's dog and my father's dog. They are so theraputic just to pet them and look in thier eyes. I am glad you aren't going to " replace " your german shepard. I still can't think about having another dog, we did adopt two little brat cats though. It still took me almost a full year before I really " bonded " with them. Everyone kept pressuring us to get another dog, but I think we knew that it wouldn't be fair to a new dog to have to follow in " Big O's " footsteps. In case you've yet to notice, I can ramble on for hours.. lol If I start to bore anyone, just ignore me I am little hyper sometimes.
