Wanita, by higher acid, does it make your belly hurt EXTREMELY like I get from

coffee/cappacino?

Kris

There's something to that, Nenah. Have considered roasting and grinding my

own. Friend is a local roaster. 5 lb. bags I get are roasted that day. Store

it in freezer except for small amount in refrigerator for grinding at

brewing. What I get is an organic, shade grown, medium roast. Dark roasts

seem to fit a different metabolism than mine. They say medium roast is

higher in caffeine than dark. To my system dark roast is higher in acid. If

I have one cup of any other coffee than the one I use, I can tell either

immediately from acid or feeling off next morning.

Its an acidic stomach burn I get from organic dark roasts. Have tried mixes

of regular and dark and all dark. All dark includes acid reflux. All non

organic coffee bothers me in various degrees all the way to stomach

extremely hurting specifically from certain brands years back. Sugar and

milk in it back then probably has something to do with it. Dropped sugar in

coffee 16 years ago, milk about 5 years ago.

Don't know what makes cappacino. If it's anything like those flavored non

dairy creamers that's the most likely reason.

cappucino is made with steamed milk to the frothing point...i used to

make them in the restaurant i worked in; you put some milk in a mug

then stuck a nozzle into the milk that steam came out of. this heated

the milk to the point where it started to froth...then you put in the

espresso.

if you whipped milk while heating it, it would probably be more or less

the same thing.
