Guest guest
>Yeah, but the fertle crescent became that way from Agriculture, not hunting >and gathering. ___ [Chris's reply] What about the mass extinction of the big animals at the hands of hunters? Also, I recall learning of massive pollution and resource extinction caused by various sorts of mining by pre-agriculture humans in a world history class but I can't remember any details. Guest guest
Yes I know of the mass extinction of the larger animals, there is evidence they were hunted to extinction, yes. But the animals that were left were better equipped to deal with humans until guns came along. I am looking at the Native Americans (not all of them) for the basis of my statements. they seemed to be living with a MUCH lighter footprint than we do, and they seemed to have respect for the earth. And seemed to be gettingalong just fine until we happened on the scene. Personally I would rather live that way, than in this Illusion of freedom we live in now. We are dependent babies, having to play a man made game in order to survive. We are like domesticated cows wading through our own pollution. > [Original Message] > From: <ChrisMasterjohn@...> > < > > Date: 3/5/2005 7:15:05 PM > Subject: Re: RE: POLITICS - Anger management (Was: Chris andmerotting in hell) > > > > > >Yeah, but the fertle crescent became that way from Agriculture, not hunting > >and gathering. > ___ > > [Chris's reply] > > What about the mass extinction of the big animals at the hands of hunters? > Also, I recall learning of massive pollution and resource extinction caused > by various sorts of mining by pre-agriculture humans in a world history class > but I can't remember any details. > > Chris > > > > > >

> IMPORTANT ADDRESSES >
>
NATIVE NUTRITION online
>
SEARCH the entire message archive with Onibasu
>
>
LIST OWNER: Idol > MODERATORS: Heidi Schuppenhauer > Wanita Sears >
>
>
>
Guest guest
We can learn from mistakes of the past, right? Maybe not very well in a collective sense, but I know personally to be more aware of what the environment is capable of handling from people. I damn well know it cant handle any more of what is happening now. I know so many people with cancer as it is. You just wait, its not going to be pretty.

>
>
>
>
>
>
>

Unfortunately, many see solutions in this nutrient or that food, not a holistic approach to living in general. There are so many factors to health besides diet. Is there any organization that is going beyond Price's nutritional message to a " lifestyle of the natives " advocacy? Deanna
