I'm not sure why the eligibility lists the need to have medicaid or be SSI

eligible except perhaps they're talking about the special-needs end. With

CLASS, they only look at the child's income rather than the parents. My son did

not qualify for Medicaid or SSI prior to getting into CLASS due to our income

but qualifying for CLASS automatically qualified him for Medicaid.
