Guest guest
S. How wonderful! One of these days I must meet Karl, he sounds like a very special individual. I am amazed by our kids. It's stories like yours that make me push my own child to try things he and I wouldn't venture out to do on our own. I'm afraid of failure or how Dawson might feel if he isn't able to " get it " , I guess I need to develop coping strategies too. Just this past Saturday his music therapist asked me if he takes music lessons because when she introduced some musical notes he quickly picked up on a 1/4 note being a slow beat :-) CReece
Guest guest
What a beautiful inspirational message. Thank you for sharing. Aliza 'Don't be humble. You're not that great.' --- Golda Meir Our Christmas miracle We had our Christmas miracle yesterday. Karl was a reader at the Children's Christmas service at our church! And he was the only one of the 6 readers that you could really hear at the back of the church (all the rest were girls) AND he was the only one to read dramatically! ! I boo hooed as he processed in with the other readers and took his place, waited his turn to read and did such a wonderful job that the many members of the congregation came up to congratulate him--many of them not knowing about his disability. I just wanted to share this with others--there is so much hope for what our kids can do! S.
