questions- re: email to TCAPDD

I apologize for the confusion regarding the email at the Texas

Parents for autism scholarships website. The prepared email was for

parents of children with autism, but there are MANY in TX who are

concerned and would like to email the council as well. We have now

fixed the website so that parent, neighbor, teacher or GRANDPARENT

can give their input.

I received an email from a Grandfather of a child with autism and his

passion for this cause brought tears to my eyes. I have printed out

his email and have pinned it up in the kitchen to remind me about our

extended family and how much they love our children and want to

advocate too! His email reminded me of my husbands late Grandfather

and I could just see him piling all his wonderful 90 year old Army/

Navy buddies in his car and taking off to Austin to talk to our

elected leaders about autism scholarships! That thought just makes

me smile...
