Guest guest
hi all just joined the group and have LOTS of questions. brief intro, i'm Jenna - my son is 6, higher functioning Autism, Dx right before age 3 and after losing language at 18 months. looking back, of course now i see other signs with late development and milk allergy, but didnt have a clue then. first question: does anyone know of any docs in/around Iowa who are taking new patients and willing to prescribe the MB12 nasal spray? we have a Rx for the shots right now, but despite seeing very good results - the shots became painful for my son, which caused us both some 'drama trauma'. I decided that I cant bear to do the shots when they are painful with/without the EMLA (and have you read the insert on the EMLA?). he's a big boy and puts up a good fight, not to mention emotionally its draining for both of us and causes him to be up for hours after a shot from the battle. our DAN! doc said to try without, and goood lordy that didnt go over well. it seems none of the docs around here are even willing to touch this, much less the antivirals. anyone had any luck with homeopathic antivirals? i figure if i can't get any cooperation with getting someone to oversee us, that i might try the homeopathic...???? after going thru Stan's website, have noticed that my son and I both have some degree of whiteness on our tongues (I have psoriasis since age 12) and some asymmetry of our faces, dark circles under our eyes - always just contributed to heredity. you guys have a TON of information on here regarding the antivirals, and i'm afraid its going to take me some time to get acquainted with everything for it to make sense. but thanks so much for posting everything...really helps to have somewhere to go when it seems like no one here is willing to educate themselves and help us out. any information/advice is truly appreciated. thanks all!
