[ascc2] Fwd: Update on ATC

Dear Friends of Autism Community:

Thank you to everyone who has responded to the request for help for the

children at the Autism Treatment Center who were the victims of thieves.

Carolyn Garver has said they are overwhelmed by the response and their faith

in people has been renewed.

At this point they have said that donations in the form of gift cards would

be appreciated so the children can go to the store and make their own

choices. ATC does a great job of helping the children get out in public and

learn to make their own choices. Also, there is no time line on the

acceptance of donations. Since some of the children are wards of the state,

they have no families to depend on so your assistance is accepted at any

time.
