From the moderator As we are approaching " election-time " in Texas -- I wanted to just remind ya'll of our guidelines regarding politics on this list. I actually don't think we have guidelines on this - but here's the scoop... Do share information about candidates that is helpful. How they view disabilities, what they have done in the past - or haven't done. Post what you know - if someone disagrees - let them. Then - if further back and forth disagreements develop - take the debate off-line! Post viewpoints - let listmates agree or disagree - then please leave it at that. Personal back and forths - do personally - and not addressed to the list! We want the facts .... We all need to be informed - so inform! That's what the " Advocacy " in Texas Autism Advocacy is for.
