My kefir just died, it wouldn't do anything when I got to my destination. I

think the film issue IS a good indicator ... carry some undeveloped film with

you and ask if it can go through the scanner (actually they should have signs,

our airport does). Some post offices irradiate mail, some don't, but I don't

know how to tell or whether it is secret. Fedex will tell you they don't scan

anything though.
