Guest guest
Hi from Sue... I just remembered I forgot to answer you about Lysine. If I muscle test to see if I need Lysine after a meal .... and I do need 3000-5000 mgs. of Lysine after that meal... Then it's interesting that I --often --NO longer need enzymes after that meal--- (even though it indicated YES.. before I INGESTED the Lysine) according to my muscle testing. Therefore I always make it a point to check my Lysine needs FIRST ----before my enzyme needs... The majority of the time I only need Lysine.. & NO enzymes after the Lysine is ingested. Same thing happens with my husband. 1. If WE feel BLOATED...after eating... -----90% OF THE TIME---- we are low in Lysine...per muscle testing...!!! 2. 10% of the time (when we are bloated).... we are low in: Enzymes or... HCL...or = apple cider vinegar...remedies that for us or.. Activated charcoal.... or... Probiotics....fermented foods... .. (NOTE: I was INTOLLERANT to fermented foods most of my life... & didn't know it until 2000...am now CLEARED of it..by a Naturopath...(Dawson Program) and NAET, EAV,etc...) Other BENEFITS of LYSINE: Lysine: An essential, naturally occurring amino acid, ESSENTIAL for optimal growth in human INFANTS, and for maintenance of NITROGEN equilibrium in adults. 1. Reported to inhibit growth and replication of HERPES simplex and Epstein Barr viruses (EBV). (COLD sores)2. Promotes bone growth in infants. 3. Stimulates SECRETIN of GASTRIC juices. 4. Found in abundance in muscle tissue, connective tissue and collagen. 5. Low in vegetarian diets. A vital CALCIUM cofactor is the amino acid LYSINE which helps with ABSORPTION of calcium in the intestinal tract.. Note: (My osteopenia...was reversed by adding Lysine intake to my CA / MAG/ D3 & Vit K 1 & 2 intake daily!!!!) Lysine deficiency is common in people with increased levels of calcium in their urine. Common signs of deficiency are nervousness, irritability, neuralgia, leg cramps and excessive menstruation in women. Hope that helps, Sue
