I found your post just now. It was in my " deleted " folder for some reason.

Thank you for taking the time and responding to my inquiry. I am with you

that he needs an assessments before purchasing a device, and am looking for

that kind of person to do the assessment. Any ideas?

Yes. He is on CLASS/MEDICAID.

Your school district can do an Assistive Technology evaluation. Your child

is entitled to it even if you homeschool or use a private school. Of

course, if you don't agree with the results, you can request an IEE at

District expense and go to someone not affiliated with the District and not

necessarily on Medicaid. Just an idea.
