Guest guest
Hi Philip, This looks like a home brew Rife unit using RF running at somewhat less that 27MHz, I would think. The circuit board in the blue unit looks like an RF oscillator and amplifier – the toroidal mains transformer probably reduces to 12v DC which drives the RF osc and amp – from the size of the wires looks like it can take 10amp or more; however there is no evidence for any transistor cooling (finned heatsinks and fan) that that amount of power would normally require, so the actual output power would probably be quite low. The black box on top looks like a simple ATU as one can see a coil and what looks like a variable capacitor – it is also in the correct place, just before the tube. The plug with 4 leads looks like could accommodate the microphone plug from a CB unit – I would guess only 2 wires are connected – the modulating AF input. Once the proper connections to the tube are made all it should need is a AF frequency source to the 4-pin plug – sound and ground. Hope this helps, Andy
