Guest guest
Hi back! Thanks for asking. :-) Well my first week is going very well. I actually started on Dec 16, but had to stop because I got sick and then the holidays were a little hectic. So now I restarted on Dec 31st. Yesterday I did the upper body weights and let me tell you I am a little sore. My back chest and triceps are sorer than my shoulders and biceps. Weird, huh? Anyways, this morning I did the stairmaster at interval mode in level 7. I was dying when I hit the high points, but I made it through and you know 20 min wasn't all that bad. Tomorrow is the lower body. We will see how it goes. Not too worried about quads/calves ect but my hamstings are another thing. The eating part is going all right. :-) How are you doing? What part in Australia do you live in.? Martie P.S do you like to go by Legend or Darren? > Hi Martie > how is your first week going /Gone interested in your progress > Legend > Re: New here > > > Hi there! > > Welcome to the group. Guest guest
Hi back! It's so cool that you started the same time as me. ;-) We can keep each other on track. Congratulations on your new marriage. I've been married for a little over a year. :-) How was New Zealand? We went to Tahiti for our Honeymoon it was so beautiful. You just don't get those waters here in Southern California. Anyways, for the lower body workout I did the following: Leg extensions/Leg press, Lying leg curls/standing leg curls, One leg calf raises/angled calf raises, Floor crunches/ twist crunches/bent knee leg raises. I do more abdominals because that is where I needed the most. :-) If you want you can email me also. imagin-me@... It's great to have a friend on the other side of the continent. Martie > Hi Martie > I live in Sydney very close to the city. We have something in common, I started my second challenge on the 31 of December so we can keep tabs on each other. I was very happy with my first Challenge. lost about 15 kilos of fat and added 3 kilos of muscle, I felt better than I had in years and wanted to do another challenge straight away. I did that and tore my trapezes muscle which was so bad I needed two weeks off work and could not drive a car for 3 weeks. In the time since then (Mid August) I have got married, had 4 weeks honeymooning in New Zealand and spent all of December entertaining clients, all with out exercise, Yes you guessed it I am back to where I was before my first Challenge. I started back on December 31 because it was a Monday and I'm am already feeling the benefits. My chest triceps and lat muscles are feeling it and did 20 minutes on the bike yesterday morning which nearly killed me. Thismorning was the lower body. Barbell squats, Dumbbell squats, straight leg deadlifts, Lunges, one legged calf Raises, angled calf raises, floor crunches and bent knee leg raises. got through the lot in 40 minutes which was just great but I was had it. I probably did not reach a 10 but came close. so what is you lower leg routine? > Kind Regards > Darren > Re: New here ~Darren > > > Hi back! > > Thanks for asking. :-) > Well my first week is going very well.
