Thanks--see you there! Cowtown Marathon With 2007 upon us, let's commit to getting closer to a cure! Set some goals for 2007 for better fitness and raise funds for Cure Autism Now. On Saturday, February 24th in Downtown Fort Worth, DFW Chapter members will be participating in the 2007Cowtown Marathon and raising funds for CAN. This event is open to anyone and everyone who would like to participate! Let's make our presence felt! The Cowtown Marathon is a very well established event and brings thousands of participants every year. They also have distances to fit ALL levels of runners. You can choose to run/walk in any of the following: * 5K * 10K * Half Marathon (13 miles) * Full Marathon (26.2 miles) Relay teams are welcome. You can join an existing team, or create your own team. You will need to register both with CAN and with the Cowtown Marathon (see below). Then choose the team to join from the list that appears on the bottom of the page and follow the prompted steps. To start a new team, follow these steps: 1. Select " Start a Team. " 2. Under the Start a Team banner in middle of page, select the circle for the option " New Team Under. " 3. In the " Select a Group " drop down menu, select " Run Now Dallas/Ft Worth. " 4. Name your team, establish your fundraising goal, and establish your team member goal (if desired). Click continue. 5. On the next page fill out your personal information, name, address, create your user login and password, and create your personalized web link. 6.
