Please have your lawyer friends tell us the law. Rather difficult for the layman to look it up himself. I think someone was misquoted here. Please read the following and tell me where I'm wrong: * There are people selling unapproved devices and supplements (legal as long as they don't make any claims, and there are no real dangers involved) * There are alternative doctors prescribing them (legal as long as they don't claim the items will cure anything). Alternative doctors can't prescribe natural supplements to aid someone that has a disease? * Then there are the patients (who really shouldn't boast about their doctor trying to cure anything - to keep him out of trouble) * And there are individuals treating themselves (perfectly legal only if they keep their mouth shut?? - come on!) Since when can't an individual say that he cured HIMSELF (not someone else) of a disease with Anything? (alternative or whatever). Seems very obvious that this law only applies to those that are treating someone else (and only professional medical people, I would think). In the US we are entitled to free speech. Doesn't it seem just obvious that we can say anything we want? How many people have been arrested for doing those radio and TV talks shows, where they said exactly what alternative things they did to cure a disease? If there is such a law, they don't seem to be enforcing it. Thousands of people on these lists, and no one seems to be complaining about being arrested for using various protocols to heal themselves.
