>Too much manganese from all the tofu she adds to everything?

As a vegetarian, she's probably eating purified gluten fake meats

too. Someone sent me this link (thanks!):

http://www.mercola.com/forms/seminars/2004/dec/wheat_brain.htm

He says: " Up to 90% of my patients who complain of these kinds of neurological

and behavioral problems also have documented elevated antibodies to wheat,

indicative of wheat sensitivities. The connection is undeniable. When these

people stop eating wheat, their symptoms invariably diminish. " In his talk, Dr.

O', who will be joined by nutritionist Stimmer, will tell attendees

how to recognize whether their symptoms are wheat-connected, and how to omit

wheat from their diets -- even though so many foods have wheat as their primary

ingredient. Ms. Stimmer will also share practical tips on how to shop for and

select a variety of wheat-free foods.

Wheat gluten is being used for protein in many vegetarian diets, and

to me, that is a very dangerous thing!

I'm terribly late in replying, but I will answer your questions-- to the best

of my ability. I don't see her very often. Saw her for the first time today

since a brief incidental meeting a year ago, before which I hadn't seen her

for a couple years.

back together. She went to bartending school and never became a bartender. She

went to cake-decorating school and never got a job decorating cakes. But

she's young, and I'm not doing anything with the things I've gone to school for,

so I'm not sure how much that's just normal experimentation. I guess I don't

have much basis for judgment.

coat buttoned up when we were inside for over an hour. I'm not sure whether

that was because she was cold or because she thinks she's fat. (she's not.)

was an awful marriage. That came up because I mentioned my mom took some black

marriage on their reception in a park with an excessive amount of goose feces

:-)
