" Raw ghee " is kind of an oxymoron, but unfortunately the term has caught on. >I do plan to incorporate the X-Factor butter oil into my family's diet at >some point. >Right now, it is way too expensive for us to afford @ $45 USD/4 ounces. I could be wrong, but I don't think that the so-called raw ghee on the market is the same as (or as good as) Price's butter oil. I believe it's centrifuged just enough to remove the milk solids, whereas IIRC Price was actually isolating a specific fraction of the butter, and based on the color of the butter oil I got, I don't think it's coming from optimum soil fertility either. -

Sheesh. How hard can it be to build a centrifuge? Take a motor, add a couple of cans on gimbles. Melt some raw butter gently, put them in the cans, and spin! I'll bet old centrifuges come up on auction now and then ... Heidi [HJ] [HTG]
Guest guest
But a person would need some nice grass-fed cream to make some butter which I don't have. Science fair coming up? Sounds like a good experiment to me!
