BBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBAAAAABBBBBBBB NEWS if your school uses Walsh ! It’s taken me 4 years to just now get a FBA and still the district doesn’t accept any of his diagnoses, just finally after filing 17 issue complaint and TEA Coming down on them………. They “bent†and Kody’s getting an FBA by a reputable group. This is ridiculous. For those of you who appose these Scholarships, some of us really REALLY need them. It could have lessened the fight here for us. Our son has struggled and struggled with the fight that these districts can put up. We pay our TAXES and they use our HARD EARNED DOLLARS to FIGHT US PARENTS on what our children NEED. I could only imagine how many wonderful services could have been given to our son in lieu of making the attorneys pockets so much deeper. Also for those of you who have GREAT SCHOOL PROGRAMS, that’s great, Really! But can’t you stand behind the ones of us who don’t? Fixing all school districts is definitely not an overnight fix. How many times have your other autism parents stood behind you on issues YOUR CHILREN needed. REMEMBER, IF THIS IS WHAT IS RIGHT FOR OUR KIDS, PLEASE DON’T LET THEM DOWN! Our Districts do that often enough already. OUR KIDS ARE OUR FUTURE…………………… Sincerely and without malice, Terri ~ _mom_on_quest_ (blocked::mailto:mom4kody127@...)
