Guest guest
I need a way to lock windows. Does anyone have any ideas on how to secure windows? My 11 year old has discovered that they open, darn. It seems he wants to look at the stars and make Army men jump out his bedroom window. I think this is something from Toy Story if I recall. Anyway the only thing I could think of were screws in the window jams. Any ideas? I could use the alarm but it's going off all the time and I'm afraid someone will forget to set it back. Thanks for the help. Trina
Guest guest
Trina We have window locks that are like brackets w/ a screw that tightens them. you can place them where ever you want on the window to only open as high as you set it. I believe you can get them at home depot they can be tightened enough that your son ( or you ) cant open them w/ out a pair of pliers ... Like the double keyed locks obviously you would want to have pliers hidden in a place where you can get them if there was an emergency and you needed to get out the window. we had the same problem w/ my son leaving the house thru the window when the doors were locked so we had to secure them all with these locks.
