Guest guest
I really like Dr. Barbara Reid. We saw her when she was in a private practice, but she has now switched to Texas Children's Hospital. Geraldine Pediatric GI in Houston I have seen two of them in the past and don't want to go back to them. My son has a parasite and from reading about it, I found out interesting info about the damage that it can cause and how similar it is to the effect of the " leaky " gut. He is a patient at Thoughtful House, but want to see a GI in Houston just in case it may take a long time before we get an appt with Dr. Krigsman. Could any one recommend a reasonable, open-minded Pediatric GI in the Houston area? Thanks,
Guest guest
Thanks Geraldine! Is there aware of any of the research and possible connection of GI issues and ASD symptoms? Guest guest
We just saw Dr. Reid this past Wednesday for my 4 yr old with severe gut issues (it took us 4 months to get in!!!). I did not feel she was open-minded or helpful. I'm back to square one and we are going to have to go to the Thoughtful House. We waited 2 hours to talk with her for 20 minutes and she will not run any tests on my son, just keeps giving him Miralax. I was so frustrated!! What an ordeal dealing with Tx Childrens Hosp. They are this big impersonal machine, and let me tell you, right before Christmas everyone we dealt with was very grumpy!! I'd stick with Thoughtful House unless you have a true emergency.
