Guest guest
The Plasma Plus II has an input for an external frequemcy source. Their manual, located at http://www.plasmaplus.net/PlasmaPlusIIInstructionBook.pdf does not indicate what kind of input connector, or signal voltage, it needs to drive the Plasma Plus II. Their website shows it with a Semoia Frequency Generator. The Semoia can be setup to output up to five volt signals, so no telling what signal the Plasma Plus you have needs. I take it that you do not have the Semoia frequency generator. If you have the manual for the PP, maybe it says in the book what signal amplitude the PP wants, Or, go to the plasma plus website and ask the manufacturer? As to the input connector on the back (or front) of the PP, what does the audio input connector look like? It is likely that it is either a coaxial BNC connector, or an audio phono connector of some kind, and you might want to take a close-up photo of it and let us see it. It might even be the same kind of connector that the sound card has, and a standard 3.5 " ( 1/8 " ) Miniplug to Miniplug cable might do. If the input is a BNC jack, you need a BNC Cable to 3.5mm plug - we have those available too. To use FREX, most people plug their sound card output into the EMEM (if the sound card outputs enough signal - many do not..) and use FREX on the PC to determine what frequency sets are used. If the Sound card does not supply enough voltage to drive the PP machines, the options are to use a small amplifier that boosts the signal up to plus five volts.. There are a couple of sources for devices like this; my company has one, the SA-02 Squaring Amplifier, and there is another one out there too (less expensive that the one we have..) and some folks find a small Radio Shack amplifier that does the job. I am not familiar with the Plasma Plus, so I don't know how touchy it is for input signals. Some of the EMEM devices are fairly critical, below about four volts signal and it won't work right, and too much above five volts may damage the unit. The SA-02 puts out a zero to five volt signal suitable for driving most EMEM devices - don't know about the Plasma Plus. Ken is on this list and on the Rife-List, and may chip in as well. Hope this helps.. Dave Felt DFE Research http://www.dfe.net missourinaturegirl wrote: > If i have a plasma lamp from plasma plus, and it is on a manual fg, > how do i use Kens frex 16 on it? Guest guest
I'd also be interested to know if this tube unit can be used with a laptop, Dave's SA-02 Squaring Amplifier and Frex16 etc. Please post if you have any info. Guest guest
Dave, the manufacturer wouldn't say anything about using his Plasma Plus on anything other than the Semoia frequency generator - and in fact wouldn't even comment on what type of input connector the Plasma Plus had. I sent him another note, but no response yet. Sounds like a nice guy, tho.. He did say he only certifies the Plasma Plus machines with the Semoia. Guest guest
I'm here, just busy and behind in my work. Your could probably use Dave's SA-02 http://www.dfe.net/index.html Regards, Ken Uzzell http://heal-me.com.au FreX - CHIamp - FDS putting Ken Uzells freq on a photon lamp > If i have a plasma lamp from plasma plus, and it is on a manual fg, > how do i use Kens frex 16 on it? Guest guest
The Plasma Plus fellow indicates that he only certifies the machine running with the Semoia Hammerhead, not with any other method. So, you'd be risking the warranty on the machine trying to use it with FREX ... Your call. I sent you the link to his site, and he has an email there, so maybe chat with him about it. Good luck!
