Guest guest
Some of the people who are doing this protocol have reported a temporary rise in BP, but it returned to normal. The type of salt used for this is natural salt (i.e. Redmond's RealSalt or Himalayan) or the pure salt tabs. Table salt SHOULD NOT be used (shouldn't be used on the table either, but that's another subject). The minerals have been stripped from it, and there are additives that could be considered harmful. There is some belief that it is processed salt that causes all the problems with BP. If you look at any processed food label in the store, it contains a lot of processed salt, and this is what the majority of people in this country eat. If you want more information, there is a yahoo group for the salt/c protocol called lymestrategies. There are a lot of people on there who have had good results with the protocol. I personally have not used it. ge Blankets - J wrote: I found these sites interesting but have a question about all the salt. For those with High Blood Pressure or a lean towards it, how can they raise their salt intake. It is my understanding that they are asked to cut back on salts. thank you for all the information Happy New Year nancy j southern Alberta --------------------------------- Check out the all-new Yahoo! Guest guest
It is my understanding that sodium and potassium should be in balance as sodium intake increases potassium is released thru kidneys the lack of potassium is the ultimate cause of high BP and can be fixed by more potassium or better yet using potassium salt instead of table salt, I agree with you refined table salt is poison and should not be consumed Terry _____ From: Rife [mailto:Rife ] On Behalf Of Gail Sent: Thursday, December 28, 2006 12:58 PM To: Rife Subject: Re: OT rife and scabies Some of the people who are doing this protocol have reported a temporary rise in BP, but it returned to normal.
