Guest guest
Probably not - where is their money coming from? QW has lost several lawsuits and as I understand it, owes many thousands in court fees, yet they seen to keep on going. One-time Dr. Barrett (hasn't been licensed as an MD psychiatrist in many years) and his cohort still manage to file lawsuits, and they have another fellow in Canada who does the same up there. Tim Bolen's website sort-of keeps track of the QW group (unfortunately Tim requires money, usually up front, to come to the defense of an accused practioner. To travel the country working with defense attornies has costs, after all ..) So to answer the question - it may be years before QW is finally finished, and if, as is the theory, the pharm industry if footing their bills, they'll find another shill to do their work. Guest guest
Hi, There are already a few websites that watch the quack watch people, try these: http://www.quackbusters.com (Amusing) http://www.quackpotwatch.org The real thing, run by Tim Bolen http://www.bolenreport.net/ Another similar site from Tim Wikipedia talks about them, too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quackwatch However, quack watch does serve one good purpose. A lot of people out there recognise the true purpose of quack watch and use it to determine what forms of alternative therapy is mentioned there. If quack watch are really attacking some therapy - it must surely have some merit! They are actually giving alternative therapy free advertising!
