Guest guest
Subject: Happy Holidays! I'm Back Sorry I've been very quiet the past few days, gang... Happy Holidays to all of you (I know, a little late, but the feelings are still there). I had a few personal demons to wrestle with over the past few days (as some of you know, the holidays usually put me into a downward spiral, but, NOT THIS TIME!). I did a lot of soul searching over the past few days, did some talking to my friends and family, and decided THIS YEAR was going to be different. No depression... no withdrawing into my shell and feeling sorry for myself... it was time to get off my ass and make this holiday great! And you know what? For the first time in years, Christmas was awesome. I feel very powerful for taking control of my life, and I'm now more committed than ever to making something of myself in the new year... and, continuing on my journey to getting the body I want via BFL. Thanks to all of you for your support! I'm back and better than ever. - Wayne Hi Wayne, Saw your post and can't say how happy I am for you! It truly put a smile on my face. Same situation for me, holiday time with the folks is difficult for me (it's a whole week ordeal, with anniversary, birthday added to the holidays, which makes me feel trapped. Certainly not in the holiday spirit.) Each holiday is the same, with 2 days into it and I'm screaming to get out. This year I decided, as you..that I'm the only one responsible for me and my happiness and that this year, it will be a happy holiday week. And it was. I took responsiblity for alot of things and I was thrilled with the outcome. And it was one of the best christmas's in awhile. It truly affirms the fact that you are only responsible for yourself and your actions and feelings. If you're not happy, don't blame anyone else. Get over it, deal with it and be happy for yourself. Again, I'm sooo happy for you. Isn't it empowering? You did it! I think BFL not only puts you in control of your body, but your emotions as well, in it's subtle way. You're in control of your body, your workouts, your diet, and your emotions. It works in every aspect of your life...... BFL Update: Kept to the workout during the week (brought my running shoes and weights...) and had 3 off days with diet, but for only 1 off meal per day (usually dinner) which added up to 1 full free day (ahh..creative, no?) I tried to keep my cookie binges during the dinner meal rather than pigging out all day. Strange though, my first big cookie/chocolate binge resulted in a migraine and feeling horrible for a day...... hmm. Junk food looks sooo unappealing.
