Guest guest
Hi there! Well, I've only been a member of this board for 2 weeks myself and it doesn't take long to chime right in and start a discussion (or debate, if you will ) with this crew! Congratulations on starting again. I'm new to the program so PLEASE tell me about C1 and your accomplishments and how long ago that was, etc. I love hearing about other's accomplishments. Welcome and good luck to you! Darla > Hi, all ! I usually just sit quietly and 'soak up' the > postings....sounds like most of you have known each other > for quite awhile. Guest guest
C1 went really well! i lost about 16 scale lbs, and definitely was toning up. (though i have a ways to go, to be where I want to be.) My husband and his twin brother lost about 40lb each, on C1. (They were both about 80lb overweight, to start--- and i'm so proud of how committed they are with the work out,,,at the gym, 6 days a week, staying on the program!) We were getting ready to go with a group of 25 to Cancun, so I had some 'extra' motivation to stick to it. Actually 'sent in' my before/after's ! (Still waiting for Bill to knock on the door. LOL) I 'slacked' off over the holidays, and boy can I feel it. I'm excited to get committed, again, and even though I 'know' i'm a BFL 'lifer', it's seems " easier " in 12 week increments. (if that makes sense.) Thanks for the welcome......i'll be sure and be back with what's working, now, and what worked 'C1'. TGIF! ~Y > > Hi, all ! Guest guest
Thanks! How far into the 12 weeks are you? I started C1, July 23, 2001, and completed in October. In the beginning, the 6 meals a day was hard, but I SOON realized i was making them TOO big. For most of C1 I drank 1/2 Myoplex Lite Shake, with a TBSP-ish of protein powder added in, usually 2 of the meals each day. I also took BetaLean HP, most of the 12weeks. I'm usually at the gym at 5:00am-5:30am, before my little people are off to school. The BetaLean TOTALLY helps get me up and going in the morning. I've added Betagen, about 2 weeks ago. Too early to tell if it's making a difference or not. Good Luck to you, too! ~Y > > Hi, all ! Guest guest
Good job! Post your before and after's for us to see in the " Files " section. That's always inspirational. Guest guest
What's the BetaLean for? I feel like I'm eating too much, too. My fist is a whole chicken breast or half a salmon filet and that much in protien or carbs seems like allot. A friend of mine is on it too and she said she HAD to cut back on her portions because in the first week she felt bigger and that wasn't what she wanted. I, personally, am going to stick with the program for 4 weeks EXACTLY as it says and if I feel like I'm gaining FAT, which - I don't see how I COULD, then I'm going to have smaller meals. Why did you do the shakes at 1/2 instead of your meat/protien and solid/carbs? Just curious. It must be a program you love since you're on your second round! Tell your husband congratulations too. It's always nice to hear success stories. Darla > > > Hi, all ! I usually just sit quietly and 'soak up' the > > > postings....sounds like most of you have known each other > > > for quite awhile. Guest guest
The BetaLean HP is a supplement (EAS) to give you energy, help burn fat, and i love that it's time released, so you don't get all 'shaky' for an hour, then it's worn off. I stopped taking the Betalean for a few weeks, after C1, and was dragging.... I started doing the 1/2 Myoplex shakes at the recommendation of a couple people in the guestbook, on the BFL.com site. I feel like it made a difference. I didn't feel so FULL after drinking it. NOT SURE IF THIS IS A GOOD TRICK or not,,,,,but I kept a box of Pepperidge Farm Hearty Wheat crackers in the pantry, all the time, and when i REALLY craved a crunchy or salty 'snack', and didn't want to 'fall off track', i'd grab a cracker. I mentioned on a guestbook entry, and sounds like a few others had some little " Almost Authorized " secrets, too. Just an FYI. With 4 little people in the house, there are always snacks.....and every once in awhile, they actually are tempting. This was my alternative. :-D ok, done rambling! Thanks a bunch...! ~Y > > > > Hi, all ! I usually just sit quietly and 'soak up' the > > > > postings....sounds like most of you have known each other > > > > for quite awhile. Guest guest
For some reason, I like counting the 12 weeks too. I like the idea that I can feel good about taking a week off if I have committed myself pretty good for 12 weeks. Feeling bigger doesn't really mean that you are bigger. Eating a larger volume of food and drinking a lot of water is going to make people feel bigger initially.
