This company makes an electrode unit which they claim can last as

long as 60 treatments

http://www.thedetoxteam.co.uk/detox-foot-spa/arrays.php

But this seems to be the ultimate unit:

$189 water module (the unit, not the electrodes, lasts up to 500

treatments) and as little as $10 for replacement stainless steel

rings and clips per 20 - 50 treatments (and very easy to

replace). http://www.promolife.com/products/ionic-foot-bath.htm

$10 for a replacement instead of the $80 to $250 for other units.

I talked with the salesman and they will sell small quantities of

replacement rings (large set is $140 and the other prices are not

on the web site). The water module includes one set of course.

I am surprised by the range of prices with all these units.

I was at a chiropractic seminar this weekend and saw a

deep oscillation unit (basically just a frequency generator

from 1 to 200, that grounds both patient and therapist,

who then touches the area and it gives a deep oscillating

massage. The price was about $6500. I knew this was

too high, so I did a web search and found the unit (from

Germany) priced about $2000. Profit margins can

vary quite a bit.
