Guest guest
I'll be doing it once my belly doesn't protrude. It will be a reward to myself. -Regina > > > Not me, but I've thought about having it done once I find that six- > pack:) > > Leigh > fl > > >> Out of curiosity, how many of y'all have your belly buttons pierced? >> >> Sara

Guest guest
ME!!!! <grin> I got it done for my birthday last June, and I almost didn't do it cuz my 6-pack was still buried under flab. Well, it's still got some flab on it now, but it was something that I PROMISED myself I would do for that birthday. Anyone who said they were waiting until they were happy with their tummy, well I can tell you from experience that it is a wonderful incentive to uncover those abs, so don't wait to do it. Plus, it takes months to heal completely, so by the time it's healed, you should be ready to show it off with your new buff abs. Jen B. Guest guest
I promised myself along time ago that when I hit 125 I'd get one. So...I've changed that A LITTLE now that I'm a BFLer. If I hit 130 and it's all apart of a very flat, cut tummy - I'm getting one. You must be thinking about it. You should do it Sara, if it's something you've been contemplating. Why not? You look great. Show off girl! Darla > Out of curiosity, how many of y'all have your belly buttons pierced? > > Sara
Guest guest
Sara, I agree with Darla that you should definitely get your navel pierced, it would look awesome on you with that washboard tummy of yours!! Also, your post to Darla below made me remember a funny something that happened after I got my navel pierced. First of all, I should say that I have a tattoo that I got about 8 years ago (after about 3 years of contemplating, I'm not one to rush into these things, LOL) and hid it from my parents for a number of years. I thought they would freak about it. After a few years though I figured screw it, I'm a grown-up now (I think) and I don't care if they don't like it. So, they have seen it but never commented on it either way, good or bad. Then, for my birthday last year, I go get my belly pierced and about a week later I went and got a second tattoo (I contemplated this one ever since I got the 1st one). About 2 weeks later, the whole family is at my parents house for a family shindig and my daughter announces (in about the loudest voice possible) that her mommy got her bellybutton pierced AND she got another tattoo!!!!!!! I almost died right then and there. Oh well. Guess I need to repeat that " I'm an adult now " thing a few more times. LOL Jen B. > Darla, > > Some women friends at the gym are trying to talk me into it but, let me tell you....I vacation with my 3 brothers and their wives one week each summer at a lake house and those conservative-minded women would have a fit! I'm not sure I could do it!

Guest guest
Great advice & if you want to help other people get over it, then you need to do it (whatever you are wanting to do). Guest guest
I don't have my belly button pierced yet. That's going to be my treat when I reach my ultimate goal.
