Hi Ken,

I recommend using a high performance racing coil (designed for

use up to 14,000 RPM) if you're even going to use it occasionally

in the radiant mode.

14,000 RPM coils according to my testing work up to at least

10kHz. It's a fallacy that you need to get just the right coil,

but paying careful attention to the primary resistance is

important.

Heat is a big factor also. For a few dollars more this can easily

be controlled.

It does pay to get the ones that have an output as high as 45kV.

Higher peak voltage, and therefor one coil may be all you'll ever

need (higher voltage when the tube loads it down).

Any coil will do if used in the contact mode, but it would be

good to get one that will work up to 10kHz. This would include

the Blue Bosch coil (used for older cars including VWs).

KU> Hi Ian,

KU> So even a single coil system like Jimmie Holman's " Poor Man's Rife Plasma "

system would work well?

KU> I've been asking around some vendors and nobody knew.

KU> With the novelty plasma ball, even with the existing 15 watt(ish) flyback

transformer there is a huge electrostatic signal, but the magnetic properties

are poor.

KU> With my Green/Rife machine (an Australian version of Aubrey Scoons design)

it has a tube with two electrodes. The magnetic properties are quite large, but

the actual signal on the body is quite

KU> small.

KU> How important in your opinion is the magnet properties, i.e. electrostatic

verse electromagnetic?

KU> Direct wiring a plasma ball to your high voltage coils provides an

excellent plasma tube. You will find it quite effective and significantly less

expensive than special or proprietary gas

KU> tubes. Effects are equal, if not superior.

KU> Yours,

KU> Does anyone know if a 'plasma ball' can also be used as a 'tube' in a

KU> DIY Rife frequency generator?

KU> Another question: what options are there to use as 'the tube'?

KU> And where does one buy these?

KU> I want to build one for very cheap, any tips?

Hi Bil,

Thanks for your response.

Any coil models you would recommend ?

I believe Alvin Rose and Dr. Loyd recommend the MSD 8227.

Regards,

Ken

We have conducted test on the Blue Bosch... ly, we have had better output

and frequency ranges from pre 1950 6v coils than the Blue. I got a Blue I am

using as a paper weight in my lab. If anyone wants to pay the shipping you can

have it. I would love to get it out of here! Tried to give it away to a

mechanic and even he did not want it.

The Blue does run cool and is less expensive. But if you want to save $10,

get an old 6V automotive coil. If you want maximum output...Go MSD.

The MSD coil has the greatest output and frequency ranges
