Guest guest
My son improved a lot w/ valtrex. He became much more social and interactive. His language also began after starting valtrex. We saw a plateau and after close to two years of valtrex we took him off. He had a good response to LDN, which made us realize that our child has some major immune and viral issues since he responded so well to these anti-viral therapies and had regressed horribly after having his MMR/ varicella shot. We decided to start IVIG and have done three doses since November. He is so with it now. Language is just very delayed and he still has some OCD behaviors. The reason I am writing is that is now getting the same rash with IVIG that he did with Valtrex! His picture is in the photo files under " 's rash. " He has small circular rashes that look like a cross between ringworm and shingles on his chest, arms, neck, legs. His bottom is REALLY bad and looks yeasty, but still has the horrible blotches. Each time he has done the IVIG the rash has gotten worse, but his interaction and language improves. held no titer to his varicella shot. We are going to test the rest of his titers soon. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks : ) Jeanine
