Administering MB12 shots for the first time

Hello All,

I'm getting the MB12 shots soon and I wanted to know what you guys

recommend for WHEN to administer the shots. We know that they may

cause hyperactivity and my question is would you recommend doing it at

night? My son is 3yrs 8 months and he sleeps great thru the night

(about 9-10 hours). Do you think it will impact his good sleeping

pattern? The reason I want to do it at night it's because I want to do

it when he does not even realize he is getting it. Or do you guys

recommend doing at daytime and just giving it to him with tough love?

Any feedback greatly appreciated,

Fina

my son has had well over 300 MB12 shots, and has been totally unaware of any of them. I get him while he's sleeping.

Yes they are. I'm not worried about hurting him too much is more of him seeing the needle. I have been taking him for some bloodwork and as soon as he sees the needle he gets very upset about it! I got the numbing cream but I think if he does not know at all it would be best for him.

Are these injections subcutaneous? The reason Iask is because I used to give myself subcutaneousallergy injections. The needle is very small andthey don't hurt at all.Kim--- dmirandag <dmirandagyahoo (DOT) com> wrote:> Hello All,> > I'm getting the MB12 shots soon and I wanted to> know what you guys > recommend for WHEN to administer the shots. LOL my son too. Except his growing vocabulary is starting to present a problem. I hand him his "mud cup" as I call it, and he hands it back and says "want plain juice." Great. So over Christmas break we are going to work on swallowing pills/capsules.

Mine is 1/2 Italian too, its the Sicilian 1/4 of him that's killing me!!!

PS My son drinks a juice every morning with a million things in it and also has no clue of what I’ve put in there. He’ll refuse it if he sees me add anything. Letting them know what’s being done to them is sometime counterproductive. At least it is with a stubborn little ½ Italian guy like mine…..

LOL!! Mine too! Although

occasionally he swats at his butt while asleep to hit the bee that stung him,

if I didn’t do it quick enough. I find the best luck with

stretching the skin with my left thumb and pointer and he doesn’t move

when I do this…..-
