Guest guest
Here is the Dallas Morning News Video - The first two people were not a part of our group - not the best of all the coverage - but it does appear that the reporters spent a significant amount of time questioning Hastert at Hastert's press conference later on in the day...this did give us new footage of the press conference that was not shown last night. It was also on every local network affiliates 10 :OO news. Yay NBC probably did the best story so far - but I can not get the video http://www.dallasnews.com/video/?nod Tonya Hettler wrote: http://www.house.gov/hastert/contact.shtml Contact Congressman J. Guest guest
Yeah I guess that was a real oops, huh. The good ole Polio vaccine is causing Polio so now they are trying to figure out how to spend more money on a solution for vaccine-induced Polio (only talked about in the committee closet, but oops, it slipped out.) Dreadful, just dreadful…. Re: Dallas Morning News Video All I can say to Rep.Hastert is: Polio?????? Do we really need to spend money on research, therapies, and treatments for Polio????? Guest guest
I think if we were all really smart and any of us actually had some spare time (haha, I know, big joke!), we would be researching what the AIDS community did in this country to get their issue to the forefront of research and to get that research funded. They were very successful, and perhaps we need to do some of the same things they did to get our research issues funded. Just a thought.... nna P.S. Makes me wonder... " no illness specific legislation " ....hmmmm...guess everyone forgot about that " AIDS " thing... > > All I can say to Rep.Hastert is: Polio?????? Guest guest
OOPS - please do not think my last post was dismissive of those who suffer from Lyme Disease - I am just in a mad rush -- just saying that this disease that is limited to certain geographic regions and, therefore, not as widespread as Autism -- and the proponents of their cause were successful in getting legislation passed specifically designed for autism --- Mike, you are not the only one paranoid these days...I am getting those phone calls too and am obviously alittle jumpy nna Bond wrote: I think if we were all really smart and any of us actually had some spare time (haha, I know, big joke!), we would be researching what the AIDS community did in this country to get their issue to the forefront of research and to get that research funded. Guest guest
Interesting you should recommend such research. If you watched MSNBC last night, Scarborough Country talked about Big Brother and data mining. So if someone out there hits AIDS or HIV enough on Google, chances are you'll get an unsolicited coupon for AZT from your local pharmacy.
