Guest guest
Hello. I am asking for a big change to Rife group be made. I understand the former owner was maybe too much of a censorship king. But how it is now is on the other end of the spectrum, with too much freedom to ramble on about politics and things not pertaining to rife at all. I am sorry but check how many posts we have had in the last 3 months and I think this is far too many. This list is just becoming too hard to keep up with. It is like the moderator has said in the past, talking about all these other issues sometimes hurts the cause of rife. If someone asks for help with chelation I think it is appropriate to gently guide them to several links or books and keep it as simple as that. I really don't think this is the place to start debating DMPS vs DMSA vs EDTA vs chlorella. There are always plenty of other lists for non rife related issues and google should often be used as a first line of questions. I mean there just are too many frick'n posts. People, can we get back to rife specifically? I'd love to just see a hand full of quality posts each day, rather than be bombarded with gov't conspiracy theories or someone living in a country that does not have religious freedom like China telling me how there is no freedom in US when detained terrorists are given not only a copy of the same Koran that fed their extremistic attitudes but then given attornies too. Rife related posts: Is that too much to ask for the next year? I'd about rather see a fully moderated list and only let through the rife specific posts than for this list to keep on like it is. Some of us want to keep up with rife technology and have lives outside of these lists, ya know? The less time I spend on here the better. Long time ago I asked for frequencies for warts. Nicest bunch of people on this list; I got several replies from multiple members telling me how to rid myself of warts but not a single post on rife! I'd rather someone just backchannel me the wart information but why make everyone else on here suffer for my question if the replies do not pertain to rife? I'm sorry but being on more than one list, I often hate it when each list tries to be a one stop shopping list and talks about everything under the sun except for what the list is supposed to be for. Is this too much to ask or do I need to just make a new years resolution and quit reading this over posted off topic list? Anyway, Happy New Year and happy rifing! Guest guest
I am sure that will do what he deems necessary as the need arises. True, this forum has strayed many a time and even gone well off the beaten track, but it continues to find center ... again and again. One must ask one's self if this meandering is not a healthy thing, something that keeps the forum fresh, alive, and even more robust than if it were to be too restricted and censored. Our current moderator is doing an excellent job and, if a problem is seen, he will take care of it at that time. Yours always, Dr. Ian MacLeod. Ph.D. jseaton357@... wrote: Hello. Guest guest
Hello , First of all, this Rife group was started by and always has been moderated by me - . By " former owner " , you are probably referring to the " Rife-list " which was previously run by Hawkins and Bob and is now run by Loyd. That is however another list. I agree that there has been too much off topic discussion on this list recently and I have made several posts asking for people to get back onto the topic of Rife. Every time I do, I get lots of Emails from people saying they feel that such " other " therapies should also be discussed on this list as they help people too! A certain amount of off topic discussion is OK, but some of the topics have been over the top. I do also see the dangers to real Rife research by unwanted association with some " other " therapies. I have had to reject a number of messages that went way too far off topic. When I reject a message, I ALWAYS explain to the poster why their message was rejected, that has helped to keep things within some limits. In the last 3 months or so, I have been very busy with a couple of other projects and therefore had less time to be on top of moderating as well as usual, that is why more off topic postings got through, recently. However, there is a very good solution coming your way - The Rife Forum! I am now very close to reopening The Rife Forum and it will be better than ever. Not only is the platform (vBulletin) vastly superior to Yahoogroups, in both user friendliness and features, it will also be vastly superior to the Rife Forum as it was before it shut down in June last year! As topics in that forum are sorted into categories, you only need to read the messages that interest you. Those interested in off topic discussions can post their messages in the respective areas, separate from Rife related areas. It is then up to the reader, which posts to read. I have spent literally hundreds of hours and a fair amount of money rebuilding the Rife Forum, restoring the messages to the state before the attack, and updating everything to work well with the new environment. The response from the few people who have had a chance to preview the new forum has been very positive. New features will include the ability to simply copy and paste articles from the internet into a post complete with images, uploading attachments and images to your individual posts, easy to use posting tools, an online calendar making it easy to announce events with email reminders, etc. and lots more. The existing archives from this group will be implemented in the new forum, sorted into the relevant categories. However it will be a little longer before those messages can be made available (sorting about 16000 messages into catagories takes time). The forum will initially open with the messages posted there previously followed by the messages from this group probably by the end of January. Those who wish to receive the posts via Email, can continue to do so by joining the Rifeforum Yahoogroup (as before) or individually subscribing to the topics of interest on the forum. Previous members of the Rife Forum will be able to logon with their existing username and password. Others will need to register. The forum will be opening VERY SOON NOW (this week) - Stay tuned! http://www.rifeforum.com Regards Moderator A plea to some rife related posts! Hello. Guest guest
If there are topics that don't interest you the simple solution is to only read the posts that are related to rife.... If you are reading the board online in summary mode it is generally not hard to figure out which posts are rife related or not. > > Hello. I am asking for a big change to Rife group be made. Is being on the computer a healthy thing? I would hope everyone here would try to keep our time limited to using these potentially unhealthy EM devices (i.e., computers). If that means this list becomes " boring " b/c it relates to Rife only topics then great. There are plenty of other lists that allow off topic rambling if one really gets lonely and just has plenty of time on their hands with nothing better to do. I know: I have left plenty of them in the past. Maybe it's my duty to quit reading this list too. I just hate to miss out on the good technical information presented from time to time. Our current moderator is doing an excellent job and, if a problem is seen, he will take care of it at that time.

Guest guest
I don't know if you get Digest or live emails. I choose Digest but when I see 25 emails in one Digest, it is not very easy to know which ones are of interest to me and still takes time to go through the list. Like I said, a Digest of half dozen Rife related posts takes seconds to determine which ones I'll read and maybe a couple mins of my day to actually read them. But with 25 posts to sift through, it wastes a lot of time, even if I don't read the ones that are off topic and don't interest me. And then there are others like the other person who asks frequency questions and gets no answers b/c so much attention is distracted from the group's main topic. Guest guest
The group at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/rife-list/ is the original Rife discussion group, active since 1996. With about 1000 members, it is smaller than this group. Guest guest
for those of us who think sort of from a philosophical standpoint, a rife forum is related to many things....and importantly so.. i don't get the feeling that any knowledge about rife is interfered with....anyone holding back out there? because of our discussion? ariella > That is why its called RIFE forum. > Larry > On 1/2/2006 11:56:36 AM, rife wrote: > > as was said before, you can just read the ones that interest you... > > > > ariella > > > > > > > > > In a message dated 1/1/2006 4:37:12 P.M. Guest guest
i think that what happens is, someone is really DESPERATE and asks for help...and it our natural human nature to offer related and additional knowledge that we may have... it makes the list really interesting for me.., and i have an extremely strong interest in rife also.... especially since a lot of the things related to rife are difficult to put out there... why do you think, after being on this list for i don't know how long, i still know hardly anything about the specifics...if i hadn't myself used one, the biotec 2000 and hadn't used dr clark's zappers, and built a rife machine (can't get the old laptop to work right now) in any case....i don't even feel too comfortable giving the specifics.... sooo...i think we can keep rife central, but also discuss what can be added to the use of it, especially when someone's life may be at stake... i could go on.. ariella > > > > > Hello , > > First of all, this Rife group was started by and always has been > moderated > > by me - . Guest guest
Right Ariella, I do think like you ; good advice as to natural cures coupled with Rife technology are very very useful. We need to find the balance between Rife way of healing and some other ones, but " only Rifing " would deprive many people from feeling better when they are in a DESPERATE situation ; this is my case. Annick i think that what happens is, someone is really DESPERATE and asks for help...and it our natural human nature to offer related and additional knowledge that we may have... it makes the list really interesting for me.., and i have an extremely strong interest in rife also.... especially since a lot of the things related to rife are difficult to put out there... why do you think, after being on this list for i don't know how long, i still know hardly anything about the specifics...if i hadn't myself used one, the biotec 2000 and hadn't used dr clark's zappers, and built a rife machine (can't get the old laptop to work right now) in any case....i don't even feel too comfortable giving the specifics.... sooo...i think we can keep rife central, but also discuss what can be added to the use of it, especially when someone's life may be at stake... i could go on.. ariella > > > > > Hello , > > First of all, this Rife group was started by and always has been > moderated > > by me - .
