Guest guest
My son had the same issue. We could not for the life of us figure out why his poop was a yellow color. We increased his taurine and that helped a little, but when we started giving him IV folic acid it turned a normal color. We give him 1 pill of Deplin a day which is 7.5 mg of folic acid. (A LOT!) He has responded beautifully to it. Also, both of my boys get nightly MB12 shots. Every time we saw a plateau we increased it if labs still showed that it was necessary. You can look at methionine labs on a Plasma Amino Acid test (low means you need more methyl donors- think folic acid and b-12). You can look at FIGlu on a metabolic analysis profile - A high # means you need more folic acid. You can look at MMA on the same lab. A high number means you need more b-12. A yellowish frothy poop can also indicate inflammation and malabsorption. Glucosamine can help to reduce this inflammation. Hope this helps. Hope you have a happy and healthy new year! > > Hello > My grandson is on day 92 of valtrex What do we do after 90 days???
