Guest guest
in our house bacteria issues cause this Recovering from Autism is a marathon NOT a sprint, but FULLY possible! Read more about it on my Blogs athttp://www.myspace.com/christelking What causes green poops???Sorry so descriptive! Hi,I was the one who originally asked Naturals or Pharmaceuticals.....Thanks to everyone for their input! Now, I have a new one....what in the world causes green poops? My son has never been constipated, never had diarrhea and all of a sudden he is a bit constipated for the past two days (had him soak in a warm tub with epsom salt, and eat and drink a little...then he went and both times....green/solid formed...what in the world is that about? I hope somebody can tell me they know the answer to this one. Background: he's six, I just switched him (two days ago) to Natural Cellular Defense from Td DMPS (he was on it for 2 yrs), he's been on two 20 billion beneficial bacteria probiotics per day for the past 6-8 months, minerals, mb12 cream and actos (which I also just stopped because I gave him his very first Diflucan last night which I will do one a day instead of two for one week to see what happens, then two if he handles it well and will only do Diflucan for one month then switch to Threelac (that will be new for us). Just wondering if maybe he's pulling something, or if maybe the change is because he stopped pulling something, or is it a yeast/bacteria thing....I have no idea. Thanks to anyone who may know much about "poop colors"...ugh! No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
It is so funny that you posted this. I have the same exact problem. My sons stool have become very hard and green in color. I am rather perplexed by this as well. It happened when I switched to a yeast/sugar free diet and switched to a stronger probiotic (Klaire Therbiotic Complete). This started within a couple of days of this supplement and dietary revision. I purchased Smooth Moves tea but am afraid to use this as I believe it is a yeast feeder (it has cinnamon plus a couple of other ingredients that are questionable). Cristel- you said this was bacterial in your house? With the changes in Jacks diet and probiotic could there be a bacterial issue? Thanks
Guest guest
Christel He is currently taking Trienza digestive enzymes, Therbiotic Complete, OLE, Virastop, Threelac, and MB12 injections. Should I add something additional for the bacteria you are speaking of? Or will his current supps eliminate it? Thanks!
Guest guest
With my son, yeast usually presents itself as firm bright yellow stool. We get the tell tale ring, the erratic behavior, scripting, hyperactivity, mouthing, and those lovely night wakings. With the current supplement protocol all of that has stopped. In fact his behavior is fantastic. I am thrilled with his progress since the yeast and sugar free d9iet and the start of Therbiotic Complete. I am just a little weirded out by the constipation. I am afraid he will get impacted. If this is an elimination of bacteria then- AMEN SISTERS!! If not, he is still doing awesome. Thnaks for everyones suggestions. > > It is so funny that you posted this. I have the same exact problem. > My sons stool have become very hard and green in color.
