Guest guest
If it were my boy - I would want to protect his hearing and treat the infection (if it is a serious one). Then really hit hard with probiotics and antifungals afterward. If it is an infection that may not be critical or too bad - I would really ramp up the probiotics and natural / prescribed anti-fungals and take the wait and see approach. If your son is is pain that will be the deciding factor.Good luckNoraMy son has been doing so well on Stan's protocol. We've been on it for 2 1/2 months, and started seeing huge gains after the first month and a half of healing regression. This past week he has regressed, started humming and scripting again, not as engaged, etc. I took him to the pediatrician today, and sure enough he has an ear infection. He hasn't had one since his second set of tubes last March. (He had 12 previous to that) My pediatrician gave me a prescription for zithromax, but I am hesitant to fill it because of the yeast issue. He is on 80mg of diflucan a day and weighs 46 lbs. My DAN doctor is on vacation for a month. Should I give him the Zithromax and risk more yeast build up, or hope the ear infection clears up on its own????Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Guest guest
I agree, I would do the antibiotics and give him a lot of probiotics and then treat the yeast later. We have a lot of ear problems and someone told us to get an Infared Sauna that is supposed to keep water out of the ears and lower ear infections. chris From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ] On Behalf Of Nora Middleton Sent: Saturday, December 15, 2007 2:32 PM To: mb12 valtrex Subject: Re: Oh no! Guest guest
We always used a homeopathic remedy called Belladona 6 or Belladona 30, as directed on the bottle. Worked in 10 minutes or less. I'd highly recommend it. There are also others which may be helpful for some behaviours while the child's gut is healing. Check with a reputable practitioner. I prefer a classical homeopath (which means that all they use are homeopathic single remedies, one at a time). Laurie Mom of 4 > > > My son has been doing so well on Stan's protocol. Guest guest
Crush a little fresh garlic. Mix with a little olive oil. Warm in the microwave and put about four drops in his ear.
