Can't answer this one, sorry, but I'll ask my husband since he knows more about physiology and has been weight training since he was in high school...I'll get back to you on that. > Also, using your fist for portioning, how many calories are you truly > consuming?? Guess it depends on what food you're eating. But I do know that given the hand/fist proportions my total daily calories do average about the same. > DON (who is not a wonderful a ) Why Thank you DON...I'll take that as a compliment. Guest guest
> A BFL question....OK...Why is the pryamid followed by a supperset??? The pyramid followed by the next set is actually " the superset " . A superset is a combination of two different exercises designed to hit the same muscles but from different angles. > what is the fuction of the superset in relation to the BFL program?? The function of the superset is to not only hit the same muscle group from different angles, and to allow the muscles increase neuromuscle junctions. Basically, you hit the muscles two different ways, allowing the muscle to grow faster. > Also, using your fist for portioning, how many calories are you truly > consuming?? BFL is not about calorie counting. If you want to calorie count, no one is stopping you, but it's a BIG waste of time. There are several software programs out there that can be of help. Many break down the macronutrient properties of food. The only time we calorie count is for contest preparation. It's too time consuming and a big waste of valuable time for me to enter all that " stuff " into the computer when I could be outside enjoying the company of my kids.
