Does anyone know of any doctors or pediatricians preferably in the

Houston area that prescribe antiviral or antifungal drugs ?

Thanks,

Melisa Kuehn, owner/operator/DAN practitioner of Hilton's Heartland in NW

Houston works with two MDs who will prescribe antiviral drugs like Valtrex and

Famvir. I'm not sure about antifungal drugs though because she might have a

different approach to yeast issues.

Dr. Volpe can not prescribe meds. Last I heard, he was working with an M.D.

that could, but I would check first. Also, his waiting list is quite long. Dr.

Sprague is great, but I don't know if he'll prescribe Valtrex, again, worth a

call.

If you are willing to drive to Plano, you can try Dr. Rao who is an

allergist/immunologist () he has over 500 kids with

autism in his practice, and knows about the latest treatments etc..

2 warnings though, there is a long wait in his office for your

appointment so be prepared to spend some time there. The other

warning is he will do a lot of testing, some of which is not covered

by insurance (like great plains lab testing etc..) Also he tries to

start too many things at one time. In order to evaluate what is

helping and what isn't, I have made it a practice of doing just one

treatment at a time (starting supplements one at a time, doing

restrictive diet first and cleaning up yeast and viral problems

before doing chelation).

All that said, he is a very nice man, and he cares about his patients.

If you would like to email me privately with questions, my email is:

Thank you for the recommendation. As lost as I feel, I may email you

privately. We are new to the whole treatment thing. I know it sounds

horrible, but we have not known about so much all this time. When we asked

questions, I always felt like it was a secret society that we didn't have

the password to. We would get told things like, there is a lot of good

information out there but we can't recommend anything.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. This is one of the docs that I found

listed on one of the sites I was looking at.

I hate to say it, but I have heard many people say that they have been harmed by

Dr. Orlov.

Plus he has been uner investigation for insurance fraud. I don't post often,

but I've heard too

many bad stories about this man. Please be careful!
