Check out the website Studying Stools .This is always helpful.I do believe they also mention bacteria for green stools. Cornell wrote: It is so funny that you posted this. With the changes in Jacks diet and probiotic could there be a bacterial issue? Thanks "To accomplish great things, we must not only act, wemust dream; not only plan but also believe."

looks like you have it covered, if it continues for awhile you could add in the detox support by therabiotic complete which is a 50 billion in strength

ChristelHe is currently taking Trienza digestive enzymes, Therbiotic Complete, OLE, Virastop, Threelac, and MB12 injections. Should I add something additional for the bacteria you are speaking of? Or will his current supps eliminate it? Thanks!

Hi ,

This is my own personal experience, so I dont know whether its completely true.

I gave jason OLE and MB12, its stirring up his yeast, I did the test (microbial OAT) and indeed his yeast goes up. So, now I am giving him antifungals (natural, rotated) to tackle that problem. You might want to consider this too. Check out brainchild for their candida programme.

Also if you have bacteria, oregano oil is very effective for that but quite phenolic.

Rgds,

Yuliana

I know this thread has been going on for a while and I'm probably going to post something that may have already been said...  Sorry!Green poop does usually mean bacteria but it doesn't necessarily mean bad bacteria - especially if you changed probios.  Whenever I take my kids' probio I end up with neon green poop!  Bacteria does that and probiotics are bacteria.  If you are concerned, you can test to see if it's bad bacteria.  It may not be a bad thing.CherylIt is so funny that you posted this. It depends on the color of the poop.  Green usually means there's bacteria of some sort.  It can also mean too much iron but then we start getting into "shades of poop" discussions!  :)  White poop can mean liver issues (lack of bilirubin - which is what gives poop it's lovely brown color), etc.  Different colors can mean different things.  It's not an exact science, as far as I know, so just because you have, say green poop, it doesn't necessarily mean there's a factual bacteria thing going on (you may find out that it's something else - like too many leafy green veggies - yes, to many leafy green veggies can also "stain" your poop!) but color does give you an idea of what could be going on.I know, more than anyone ever wanted to know about poop.CherylI always thought odd colored poops meant they weren't digesting their food properly. Occasional green stools are not a problem....just means the stool moved through the digestive tract faster than normal....if it's a common occurrence, it's a problem, but occasional green stools are not a cause of concern.

this isn't good but the alternative is worse for us...ducolax suppositories nip the constipation in the bud...If we get to 2.5 days I peel down the bullet and in an hour it's over and done with. I prefer that over injesting Miralax which is made from some kind of plastic or petroleum (and doesn't work most of the time).

Re: What causes green poops???Sorry so descriptive!

With my son, yeast usually presents itself as firm bright yellow

stool. We get the tell tale ring, the erratic behavior, scripting,

hyperactivity, mouthing, and those lovely night wakings.

With the current supplement protocol all of that has stopped. In

fact his behavior is fantastic. I am thrilled with his progress

since the yeast and sugar free d9iet and the start of Therbiotic

Complete. I am just a little weirded out by the constipation. I am

afraid he will get impacted. If this is an elimination of bacteria

then- AMEN SISTERS!! If not, he is still doing awesome.

Thnaks for everyones suggestions.
