Guest guest Posted December 14, 2007 Report Share Posted December 14, 2007 We do an Ammonia protocol to keep Ammonia at bay but we do Dr. Yasko¡Çs supplement protocol and it is a little different for each individual depending on genetics. Here is what we use. ¢¢ Ammonia Support RNA twice a day (5 drops 2x daily) ¢¢ Low Protein ¢¢ Yucca on high protein foods ¢¢ Limit Sulfur and limited B6 (or P5P) ¢¢ 1 Ora Kidney ¢¢ Once a week Charcoal/ Magnesium flushes - THIS really helps. ¢¢ 1 Hydroxy B12 chewable ¢¢ Limit taurine We also use NCD (Natural Cellular Defense) which is not on Dr. Yasko¡Çs protocol but for whatever reason it seems to lower ammonia levels¡Ä.guess so¡Ä.. I think I read somewhere that zeolites used to be used in fish tanks to ¡Ä¡Ä..lower the ammonia¡Äand hey all in all that is pretty cheap stuff. I try not to think to much about the fish tank¡Ä¡ÄMUCH cheaper than her RNA¡Çs. Cheapest place to buy individual bottle is Brain Child. Guest guest Posted December 15, 2007 Report Share Posted December 15, 2007 My Grandson is 47 lbs and YES we saw a little detox because I started with 5 drops instead of starting with two 3x a day like I was supposed to but it was not too bad. I also left something we limit off the list below and that is to limit Sulfur but once again it is all based on genetics testing for his specific needs based on his specific genetics, but actually this protocol looks pretty much the same for all folks I have seen on the Yasko forum. The RNA’s are very expensive but you only use a few drops so they last a while. I like the NCD but it can also cause detox if you start too high on that. It was weird when we sent in our first MAP regardless of weird genetics that should have had his ammonia sky high and eating tons of protein we had low ammonia! The only thing we were doing at the time was the NCD.
