Guest guest
You really should stay on antifungals for the entire length of the antiviral. My son has been on antivirals for a year now and he's been on antifungals the same amount of time.CherylThanks Cheryl-That is what I felt as well, how long on the Diflucan, a few months?Val> > > Hi Group-> > we have been biomedical for 5 years and just found a Dr here in> > Ontario that can lead us through the antivirals etc. We have just> > completed 8 weeks of nystatin and starting diflucan in a couple of> > days. Guest guest
We did the Diflucan for 3 months and after testing found that our kid had a major fungus overgrowth (meaning some fungi were zero but others that do not react to Diflucan were big, so we are now doing all natural antifungals yeast aid + local products (I thing biotagen or something is the equivalent) and it seems to be ok at least in behavior (don’t know for the labs). So it can be useful to do several antifungals together or to rotate them. I think there is an old post on this mentioning Sid Baker’s antifungal parade. Take care Senta You really should stay on antifungals for the entire length of the antiviral. My son has been on antivirals for a year now and he's been on antifungals the same amount of time. Cheryl Thanks Cheryl- That is what I felt as well, how long on the Diflucan, a few months?
