Same thing happened to my son and now 2 weeks off Diflucan, he still flaps a ton and NEVER did this....anyone have and ideas? BethJemy Delikat wrote: Hi, My son is on day 13 Diflucan. His receptive language appears better and is tolerating more sensory input and imitating his big brother better and more often. However, he started flapping his hands when excited which is something he never did prior and he is laughing and giggling for no particular reason. Is this normal? Please help. Oh my gosh! Did your son make gains on Diflucan? How long were you on it?Beth Sutton wrote: Same thing happened to my son and now 2 weeks off Diflucan, he still flaps a ton and NEVER did this....anyone have and ideas? I don't think we were on it long enough but the die-off was so hard on his body, I stopped after 21 days. We definitely had gains--eye contact, receptive language but we really started seeing "real die-off" at the end. His body didn't look right and I didn't feel comfortable continuing. However, the arm flapping continued and actually progressively got worse. It's pretty bad now and I have know idea what the heck happened......if anyone has any insight....Jemy Delikat wrote: Oh my gosh! Did your

I posted something similar a few days ago, basically complaining that my son showed MORE signs of yeast AFTER starting Diflucan. He started spinning, which he had never done before, and he was more stimmy and out of it than ever. It has gotten better over the past few days, though. It was as though the yeast in his system was dormant and then started reacting to the Diflucan. The giggling/laughing is a yeast symptom. While it is recommended to try therapies for at least 30 days, if you feel very uncomfortable with the effects, I don't blame you for taking your son off it.
